I've got a suggestion to use an enforcer in the league. Fantrax is set up for this. You would have an extra roster spot for your enforcer, and he would get you extra points for fights. I'm thinking 5 to 10 points per fight. Please vote and add any comments or advice you have.

I voted yes, but would like the enforcer to take the place of one of the forwards. This way, we keep the roster at 25 and the GM has to make a decision as to whether to use the 3 Forwards or 2 forwards and an enforcer. Then the next question is whether that enforcer can get all of the same point totals that a regular skater can get. If so, we might be making the Steve Downies more valuable than the Sidney Crosby's.
Maybe more discussion might help to clarify.

My thinking is 5 points for fights, and .25 pts for the rest of the stats. I think your right about the roster spots, 25 is enough.

Pete, I like that decision. I am assuming that you mean 25% of the points that other skaters can make, right?

I think fights for an enforcer should be worth the same as a goal for a normal roster player

I think fights for an enforcer should be worth the same as a goal for a normal roster player It will be close to that Sean. I played with the stats on fantrax, and increased the weight for goals/assists/special teams. This way your enforcer will have some value, but not nearly as much as the big scorers.
